Rillet July 2025 Product Update Announcement

Rillet Product Updates in July:

July was another packed month for Rillet, with releases focused on giving accounting and finance teams more control, transparency, and flexibility. Whether you’re syncing Salesforce data, digging deep into journal entry histories, or fine-tuning trial balances, Rillet’s AI accounting system keeps every process efficient, accurate, and audit-ready.

Here’s what we shipped in July 2025 to boost your accounting finance operations:

Journal Entry Audit Trails and IDs

This is transparency taken to the next level. You can now view complete, version-by-version change history for manual journal entries, including who made edits, when they happened, and exactly what was changed—down to line-level details and date adjustments. Ideal for audits, internal reviews, and strong financial controls.

Additionally, Journal Entry IDs are now shown prominently in the UI and included in all exports—from GL reports to financial statement drill downs—making reconciliations faster and audit prep simpler.

Export Expenses to Excel

Need expense data outside of Rillet? Bills, Charges, and Reimbursements can now be exported directly to Excel—complete with vendor IDs, tax breakdowns, line item details, and more. Just open the menu and export in seconds.

Tax Rates in Settings

We’ve added a dedicated Tax Rates section under Settings so you can easily browse country-specific codes like Canada and Australia, see the details, and copy them for imports as needed—all in one organized view.

Salesforce 2-Way Sync

A powerful new integration is live:

  • Custom Configurable Data: Install fully custom objects in Salesforce for Rillet Contracts, Customers, and Invoices—with direct links to accounts and opportunities.
  • Real-Time Bidirectional Sync: Keep Rillet and Salesforce perfectly in sync for contracts, customers, invoices, and more.
  • Push Financial Data to Salesforce: Give sales and operations teams direct access to ARR, payment status, and contract terms inside Salesforce.

Smarter Trial Balances

Trial balances just got more flexible. Run reports for a single entity in local or reporting currency, with dedicated FX/CTA revaluation columns that make cross-border and multi-entity accounting easier to navigate.

GL Impact Date for Expenses

Rillet now lets bills, charges, and reimbursements have a GL Impact Date separate from the transaction date. This is perfect for managing late bills in closed periods while keeping accrual logic intact.

Smarter Ramp Syncing

We’ve improved our Ramp integration by mapping Ramp’s Accounting Date directly to Rillet’s GL Impact Date, and removing unnecessary export actions for a cleaner experience.
