About the role:

We are building an accounting & finance software that will be industry defining and we are looking for a results-driven product manager to support our product and development teams. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, designers, and customers to define product strategy, gather and prioritize customer and business requirements, and deliver features that solve real-world accounting challenges.

You will:

• Partner with product leadership to define, prioritize, and execute product features that align with customer needs and business goals.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to ensure accurate implementation of accounting logic and UX.
• Gather feedback from customers, internal stakeholders, and the market to inform product decisions.
• Translate complex accounting user flows and compliance requirements into user-friendly product requirements and specifications.
• Create product documentation, release notes, and internal training materials related to accounting functionality.
• Assist with QA and user acceptance testing

You are a good fit for this role if you:

• 1-2 years in a product management role
• A collaborative, detail-oriented mindset and thrives in a very fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; ability to translate complex accounting requirements into product functionality
• Have excellent communication skills with internal cross-functional teams and customers
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
• Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience with ERPs and other accounting software
  • Exposure to technology companies in an accounting function
  • CPA Certified and/or have worked in a top tier accounting firm
